Intra and extra-Eu purchases
Total
imports for EU of 15 by volume (1998), in ' 000 T
The
countries of Europe are mainly importers of synthetic
filaments and cotton yarn. The poroportion of purchases
made outside the European Union is larger, overall, than
is the case for exports sales and reaches 50 %, or
almost, in the case of cotton and discontinuous fibres
yarns. This share remains very low, on the other hand, in the case of woolen yarns. |
